ET Records - A New Beginning

A lot of artists out here in Africa are pretty talented at what they do. These ones have much to offer if given a chance by Record labels and Management Agency. Even without a Record label shooting them into the limelight, these ones have the capacity to perform well in their music careers independently. But this is rarely the case. Some artists end up feeling frustrated and quit their musical career.

A series of surveys done by E.T Records showed that most artists don't have complete knowledge of running their music career. Making music is fun but watching what you love doing very well brings in more joy. It wouldn't hurt if some of that joy came in the form of some extra cash. Having the right knowledge to apply at the right time is therefore needed to have a successful music career.

A good number of artists don't have the right understanding of the business aspect of music. There are multiple ways an artist can monetize his music that are not known by many. Most upcoming artists are unaware that they can promote their songs and earn as well. Live stage performances are what they usually depend on to generate revenue for them.  Some other sets of artists have their songs on streaming platforms but still, they don't earn what they should. The last but not least challenge is the absence of opportunity. The opportunity for deserving artists to attain their full potential is scarce.

E.T (Entertainment Tribe) Records has carefully studied the challenges surrounding the growth of the artist and we aim to make the playing field more favourable for all artists. We are an innovative Record label aimed at building and supporting the next generation of musical talent in Africa. Knowing fully well that talent is evenly distributed but the opportunity is not, we are setting out to balance this. We offer artists the opportunity to take their songs to the next level starting in Africa.

While it would be wonderful to sign every artist and have them on board, it is not possible. Not wanting to leave anyone behind, we are creating an environment which lets the unsigned artist promote themselves independently and earn from the comfort of their homes. Knowing how technology is making huge advancements in music, our team has developed it's music distribution system app - MIZIK. This app does more than just distribute music. (Bearing in mind why we exist; to make things easier for the artist). A lot can be done on the app which could have caused artists of resources if they were done physically. Removing as many challenges stopping an artist from pushing forward is our drive. We also have a blog whose purpose is to educate artists on all they need to know about music and building their careers. Knowledge and its application have always been powerful.

We see and know how tasking it is for independent artists to market, promote and distribute their music. We help make doing any of these easier through our music app, MIZIK. Getting your songs to reach a wider audience hasn't been more easy and cheap. In addition to helping artists promote and market their songs, we promote and market products of organizations using the artiste we manage, product we build and the experience of our marketing team. Your products will get the appropriate attention you're hoping for.

Music Sync And Licensing

At ET records, one can contact artists to use their music for games, videos, movies and other ways. Artists who wish for their songs to be used in any such manner gives us the right to grant a license to those showing interest in using their songs.

Performances And Appearances

You can easily get an artist to perform or make an appearance in a show or event. One only has to click on the "contact an artist" tab and a part of your checklist is done.

Event And Tour Management

We help companies, organizations or anyone wanting to host an event in Africa do so conveniently. Contact us on our website for this purpose and we ready to give you the best experience. We will help you manage your event, get you what you need including artists, audience and the whole set up. We're also available to help artists wanting to go on a music tour anywhere in Africa. We manage the whole process for you.

Talent Training

Discovering talented artists and training them is one of our biggest goals at E.T Records. We are out to train the future of music in Africa. Knowing that there are lots of talented ones out there who are ready to commit full time to music but are hindered from doing so as a result of one challenge or the other, we will be rolling out the application form. The most promising ones will be brought on board and they get trained for 4 years in our fellowship program. They're given the right training they need to understand music and be world-class artists. Under this fellowship, they earn while learning. A six month paid program is another available option. More details will roll out later on
